Kıbrıs Türk İşçi Sendikaları Federasyonu (Türk-Sen) Başkanı Arslan Bıçaklı, İşverenler Sendikası Başkan Yardımcısı Metin Arhun’u kınayarak, ülkedeki çalışma barışını bozacak açıklamalar yapmaktan vazgeçmeye davet etti.

Bıçaklı yaptığı yazılı açıklamada, “Metin Arhun’un dün basına asgari ücret ve ülkedeki işsizlik konusunda yaptığı açıklamayla kendini gülünç duruma düşürdüğünü” savundu.

Bıçaklı, Arhun’un, “ülkede işsizlik ve açlık olmadığını ve ülke insanının gayet rahat ve sıkıntısız yaşadığını” ayrıca “ücretinden memnun olmayan Kıbrıslı Türklerin ülkeden ayrılarak, Avrupa’ya gidip çalışmalarını” söylediğini savundu.

Yıllardır birçok işverenin emek sömürüsü yaptığını, çalışanların sosyal yatırımlarını dahi yapmadığını ileri süren Bıçaklı, “Çalışanları, açlık sınırının altında esir gibi günde 10-12 saat çalıştıranlar hiç aynaya bakmadan, bir de bunu beğenmeyenlerin Avrupa’ya gitmelerini öneriyor” dedi.

Türk-Sen Başkanı Bıçaklı, neredeyse her gün bütün tüketim maddelerine yüzde 200-300 zam yapıldığını, çalışanları açlığa mahkum edildiğini savunarak, “bu zihniyetin derhal bütün çalışanlardan özür dilemesi gerektiğini” belirtti.
