Verilere göre küresel net alımlar, Eylül ayındaki toplam 72 tondan yüzde 41 daha düşük, ancak Ocak-Eylül ayı ortalaması olan 34 tonun yüzde 23 üzerinde. Çin Merkez Bankası, rezervlerine 23 ton altın ekleyerek en büyük altın alıcısı olmaya devam etti ve art arda 12’nci aylık artış oldu. Yılbaşından beri net alımlarını 204 tona çıkararak rapor edilen altın rezervlerini 2 bin 215 tona çıkardı.
Türkiye Cumhuriyet Merkez Bankası da 19 ton altın alarak resmi altın rezervini 498 tona çıkardı. Yılbaşından beri TCMB, Mart ve Mayıs ayları arasındaki yoğun net satışlar nedeniyle net satıcı (44 ton) olmaya devam ediyor.
Polonya Merkez Bankası, altın rezervlerine 6 ton ekleyerek alımını sürdürdü. Altın satın alan diğer merkez bankaları ise Hindistan Merkez Bankası (3 ton), Çek Merkez Bankası (2 ton) ve Kırgız Cumhuriyeti Merkez Bankası (1 ton) oldu.
WGC, “4. çeyreğe olumlu başlayan bu yılın merkez bankası talebi daha da yükselecek gibi görünüyor” dedi.
