2013-2018 yılları arasında Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin NATO Daimi Temsilciliği görevini yürüten Emekli Büyükelçi Fatih Ceylan LAÜ İktisadi İdari Bilimler Fakültesi Uluslararası İlişkiler Bölümü’nün davetlisi olarak LAÜ’de konferans verdi.
Fatih Ceylan konferansta NATO’nun kuruluş aşaması ve Soğuk Savaşın bitmesinden sonra yüklendiği işlevle ilgili sunum gerçekleştirdi. Ceylan ayrıca uluslararası örgütlerde çalışmanın nasıl mümkün olabileceği ve öğrencilerin bu safhada nasıl bir kariyer yolu izlemeleri gerektiği konusunda da bilgi verdi.
Ceylan diplomat olmanın inceliklerinin neler olduğunu iyi kavranması gerektiğini belirterek öğrencilerin sorularını yanıtlayarak konferansı tamamladı.
